Welcome!

I am a creative based in New York City

@ Nara Park

My work ranges from podcasting — I had one of the final interviews with cybersecurity pioneer John McAfee — to writing, where I have contibuted to bylines in Nasdaq.com, Business Insider, Coindesk, Fidelity’s Center for Applied Technology, and Bitcoin Magazine.

I am particularly intrigued by valuation. From equities to cryptocurrencies to pursuits in life, I find humans to be bad at evaluating things. This isn’t a new phenomenon, everyone from Aristotle to the Big Short has thoughts on it, but hey I guess mine are different.

Anyway, before I get too into the weeds, here’s my

Ideas

I’m chock full of ideas!
Some of them are successful, most really aren’t. Such is life.

The best are one’s that pivot from failed ventures to being something useful — the best example of that for me is the events app I tried building in college (Nudge BC, you know a little nudge to try something new) that eventually became a popular Facebook group (1/10 students were on it) centered around free food on campus, BC Bites.

When I was younger I built my skillset of reaching out to people when I would reach out to soccer players asking for autographs. I got a suprising amount of responses,
some of which (rookie autographs from Heung Min Son and Kevin De Bryune) probably are now worth a ton.

I have a ton more where that comes from :) Happy to talk through them, or help in anyway I can with your ideas! Email me: jacobkozhipatt10@gmail.com
